An exciting role as a Senior Registrations Specialist based in Danbury, Connecticut.
The Senior Registrations Specialist is responsible for providing regulatory knowledge and support towards the registration of pheromone, semiochemical, and other biopesticides in designated regions globally. Obtain registrations in a timely fashion. The ideal candidate will work efficiently, effectively and proactively with Registrations team members and other key departments such as QC, R&D, Sales and Bedoukian affiliate companies.
This involves a range of activities including:
- Serve as a resource for registration strategy and project development.
- Work closely with the Registrations Manager and key departments to develop and implement registration strategies and timelines for assigned projects that support company goals.
- Clarify registration requirements, initiate studies, and gather information from internal sources, literature, etc to compile dossiers.
- Manage chemistry/toxicology GLP studies, including initiating/coordinating studies at contract facilities and reviewing/finalizing study plans and reports.
- Prepare and submit dossiers for domestic and international registrations.
- Identify, evaluate, and establish rapports with external collaborators, including regulatory consultants and contract testing facilities to support registration work globally.
- Maintain well-organized and complete files and records supporting each assigned project.
- Responsible for tracking and monitoring registration progress, and responding to questions internally and externally.
- Serve as the company’s direct staff-level contact to regulatory agencies as-needed.
- Prepare and execute project presentations, meetings, and reports for internal/external collaborators.
- Willing to adapt working hours to facilitate exchanges with collaborators in different time zones.
- Domestic and International travel may be required.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
You Offer…
- A Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from a four-year college or university preferably in Chemistry, Biology, Entomology, or a related field.
- A minimum of five years’ related experience, preferably with European and/or international registrations.
- Knowledge of European, International and US laws, regulations and guidelines for pesticide registrations and post-registration obligations. Regulatory experience with biochemical pesticides is a plus.
- General understanding of GLP principles and familiarity with chemistry, toxicology, efficacy, and other studies commonly required to support global product registrations. Ability to manage the conduct of such studies internally or at external facilities.
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Good writing and communication skills. English required, other languages a plus.
- Maintain accurate records.
- Excellent collaborative skills and desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to expand regulatory knowledge – new product categories and/or geographies.
- In coordination with Registrations Manager, effectively organize, prioritize and follow-up on work assignments.
- Interpret, explain and apply applicable laws, codes and regulations.
- Comfortable working in a multi-language/multi-cultural environment.
- Self-driven and able to work independently to complete projects and meet deadlines.
- Observe safety principles and work in a safe manner.
- Complies with all BRI environmental and safety policies and procedures.
