Bedoukian Research, Inc. received positive feedback to the high-impact fragrance ingredients it presented at SIMPPAR 2024 this past week. Bill Hamilton, Bedoukian’s Consultant Perfumer, Nathalie Leandri, Global Sales Director, F&F and Eleanor Badhe, Sales Manager, EMEA comprised the Bedoukian team for this important event.
This year, the 27th edition of SIMPPAR moved from Paris to Grasse, France, the heart of the fragrance industry in France. The two-day exhibition featured 55 booths and took place on the Cours Honoré Cresp, in the city center, outdoors under tents. Hundreds of attendees, including perfumers, managers, representatives from purchasing, sales, R&D, marketing and more, visited Bedoukian’s booth and experienced the high-quality fragrances Bedoukian demonstrated during the event.
Bedoukian demonstrated four fragrance ingredients at the event in four different accords. Three of these ingredients were chosen because they are in Bedoukian’s sustainable ingredient portfolio due to their high percentage of renewable carbon. This help demonstrate Bedoukian’s commitment to offering sustainable ingredients.
The presentation included BRI #535, Methyl Anjoulate™ launched last year. It was shown in a Cinnamon and Apple Fragrance. The demonstration also included BRI #857-SUS, Lavender Aldehyde™, in a Lavender Bouquet Accord. BRI #818-SUS, Terrasol™ FCC was also shown in a Patchouli and Amber Acord. Finally, Bedoukian presented BRI 809-SUS, 1,3,5-Undecatriene FCC, in a newly created Vert De Citron Accord.
Eleanor Badhe recently joined Bedoukian’s Geneva Switzerland’s office and is responsible for sales throughout Europe. She attended the SIMPPAR exhibition for the first time with Bedoukian and commented on the event. “It was a great few days for Bedoukian at SIMPPAR. Having the opportunity to demonstrate our fragrance ingredients directly to perfumers and get immediate feedback is invaluable.
