Bedoukian Research works closely with many quality companies to represent Bedoukian’s high-impact ingredients in various countries around the world. Recently, these distributors were invited to Bedoukian’s Connecticut, US headquarters for a summit and it was a valuable experience for the distributors and Bedoukian.
The distributors were divided into two groups and came to Bedoukian’s office for three days of meetings. Both groups of distributors toured Bedoukian’s facilities and met with key personnel to better understand the operations of the business. A large portion of the first two days was also devoted to flavor and fragrance demonstrations.
Time was also allocated for each distributor to meet directly with the Bedoukian customer service team that services their account. In those meetings, Bedoukian sought to understand how to best serve the distributor so that they have what they need to meet the demands of their end customers.
“The Distributor Summit was a great success,” said Elvin Lim, Regional Sales Account Manager for Bedoukian in Asia and a co-organizer for the summit. “It is always helpful to meet in person with key partners, but this was particularly helpful as it gave the distributors a better understanding of Bedoukian’s business and it gave Bedoukian personnel a better understanding of the needs of our distributors.”
Nathalie Leandri, Bedoukian’s Managing Director, EMEA, and also a co-organizer for the event, stated, “In talking with the distributors who attended, they all felt the summit was useful and that their business will benefit from what was learned during the event. We know the time spent together will allow us to work more closely together in the future – resulting in more success for Bedoukian and the distributors’ business.” Nathalie continued, “While this was Bedoukian’s first Distributor Summit, based upon how this benefitted all involved, we will be having more events like this in the future.”
